Posted under Product Liability

Atlanta-based company Graco is being investigated by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA) regarding their recall that affected millions of child car-seats, CNBC 25 stated on December 2.

The NHTSA reportedly is investigating if Graco negligently delayed reporting of the safety issues that affects almost 4 million child car-seats. The federal agency said that children’s lives are at risk due to defective buckles. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx stated that they do not tolerate product makers that delay reporting safety issues of their products, especially if it affects children. Graco stated that they are cooperating with federal agencies and they continue to work to promote consumer safety.
