Four people suffered minor injuries after one of the trucks on a Kilimanjaro Safaris ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom caught fire Sunday afternoon. One woman, who suffered knee injuries while jumping out of the burning truck, was taken to the hospital. Three other people were treated at the scene and released.
A Disney spokeswoman blamed the fire on an engine hose failure. The Safaris ride is currently under investigation until all trucks have been inspected. It is expected to reopen sometime Monday.
