Yesterday in Arizona woman driving a Chevy Cavalier ran a stop sign and crashed her car into an F-150. Both drivers were injured with minor injuries but neither one went to the hospital. Police later ticketed the driver of the cavalier for failure to stop at a stop sign and for failure to provide proof of insurance.
Lately in this small town in Arizona, police have responded to 12 traffic accidents in the past two weeks. Many of these accidents have been caused by people not paying attention to the road while they are driving. Officers in the Douglas police force are urging motorists to be more careful while they are driving. They would also appreciate it if motorists did not try to get through streets that the police have clearly blocked off with their squad cars.
