Susan R. Steingass

Attorney Susan Steingass has been with the firm since 1994, following almost 9 years as a Dane County Circuit Court Judge. Over these years she has represented clients in a variety of personal injury claims. She also directs the Communication and Advocacy Program at the University of Wisconsin Law School and teaches in the areas of trial skills, civil procedure and evidence. Susan is a past president of the State Bar of Wisconsin, a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and a recipient of the Margo Melli Award for advancement of women in the legal profession. She is a graduate of Denison University, Northwestern University and the University of Wisconsin Law School where she was an editor of the Wisconsin Law Review and a member of Coif, the law school honorary society.
