Two-family townhouse catches fire

by Administrator 17. March 2010 05:56
A townhouse located on Wright Street on the city's east side caught fire earlier this morning, causing up to $75,000 in property damages.

The fire department was called at 9:54 a.m. and firefighters arrived to discover flames and heavy smoke pouring from the building. In total, seven people live at the residence, but only three were home at the time of the fire. All three made it out safely before the firefighters arrived on the scene. The remaining four residents were all children who were at school at the time of the fire. The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
