A 15-year-old Loganville teen is recovering at home after a van rear-ended the farm machinery he was driving Friday evening on State Highway 23. At 8:18 p.m., the 911 dispatch center received a report of an accident on Highway 23 north of Elder Ridge Road, Lt. Jeff Tobin of the Sauk County Sheriff's Department said in a press release. A horse-drawn planter driven by Steven V. Hershberger was traveling north when it was struck from behind by a van driven by Bonnie J. Anderson, 69, of Reedsburg. Hershberger was thrown from the planter and sustained serious injuries, Tobin reported.
