Car crashed into combine on rural highway Tuesday

A car driving west on a highway in Madison crashed into a combine Tuesday. According to police reports, the car lost control, crossed the median, and drove into a fence.

Many studies suggest that some of the most dangerous car accidents occur on rural highways. These accidents are often more dangerous because of the high speeds at which cars travel on county roads.
