Pedestrian killed by suspected drunk driver in Walworth County

Posted under Wrongful death

A pedestrian who had just left a Phish concert at a Walworth County theater was killed after he was struck by a vehicle driven by an alleged drunk driver, an August 10 article in the Journal Sentinel reported.

Reports from the sheriff’s office revealed that at around 1:00 a.m., pedestrian Chad Kneesel was walking outside near the Alpine Valley Music Theater when he was struck by a vehicle. Kneesel, 38, was on Highway 120 when he was fatally struck by a southbound vehicle. The male vehicle driver involved in the crash, identified as a resident of Lake Geneva, was apprehended and an OWI charge was later filed against him.
