Two dead in Milwaukee stolen vehicle accident

Two teenagers in the Milwaukee area were recently killed in a two-vehicle car accident, a March 27 article of the Journal Sentinel reported.

The fatalities were identified as Marquise Tate and Jamar Canady, both 16-year-old. The accident reportedly happened at around 3:30 p.m. on March 25 near Hi-Mount Boulevard and W. Lloyd Street in Washington Heights. Police arrested and charged Gerald Harper, 18, for his participation in the accident. Harper, another vehicle driver only identified as a 47-year-old man, and an unnamed 17-year-old male sustained injuries from the accident. Harper is facing charges of negligent driving resulting in homicide and driving a vehicle using an invalid driver’s license. Authorities also identified the vehicle Harper was driving as a stolen car. Harper was expected to appear in court on April 3.
