Man charged in fatal Racine pedestrian accident

Charges were recently filed against an intoxicated driver responsible for the death of a pedestrian in Racine, Eyewitness News reported on December 26.

According to reports, several charges were filed against 31-year-old Bradley Hayek, including homicide by intoxicated driving. Hayek reportedly struck pedestrian identified as Robert Castaneda, 45, who later died at the hospital. Although Hayek left the scene of the accident, he was apprehended by police not long after. A $50,000 bail was set by a court commissioner for Hayek.
