Horicon semi-truck crash causes injury

Posted under automotive defects

A semi-trailer truck driver was injured after a truck crashed in Horicon, tying up traffic for almost seven hours on Tuesday morning of March 5.

The Horicon Police Department said the crash happened when a westbound semi-truck lost control and crashed on Highway 33. The traffic in Horicon was detoured, leaving motorists undecided as to which route to take while crews removed the trailer-truck from the road. The Dodge County Sheriff Department assisted Horicon Police, Fire, and EMS responders who arrived on the scene of the crash. The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was brought to Beaver Dam Community Hospital.

Police Chief of Horicon, Joseph Adamson, said it was a blessing that the driver only sustained minor injuries and no other person was injured in the crash.
