Posted under Madison motor vehicle accidents attorneys

A car accident in Milton has left an 8-year-old girl dead. The accident happened last Friday around 9:00 p.m. near Highway 26. Two cars collided into one another at the intersection of Highway 26 and Arthur Drive.

A 31-year-old driver was traveling with his two young children, ages 8 and 5, when he collided with another vehicle. The 8-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene, and her 5-year-old brother was taken to a children’s hospital in Madison, where he is being treated for severe injuries.

The other motor vehicle was being driven by a 55-year-old man, who had a 39-year-old female passenger in the car. The investigation has turned up information regarding several factors in the car accident. Police reported that all individuals involved were wearing their seat belts correctly, and they do not believe that alcohol was involved in the crash.

Our thoughts go out to the young girl’s family and friends during this truly tragic time.
