Chestnut and his passenger, 41 year-old Claudine B. Pate, of Mazomanie, were pinned in the wreckage and had to be extricated from the vehicle. Chestnut was transported by Med Flight to University of Wisconsin Hospital for treatment, while Pate was taken by ambulance. Both airbags deployed in the vehicle

Chestnut was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated-Causing Injury. He was also cited for Failure to Maintain Control.
