A 10-month-old Wisconsin girl escaped injury Tuesday when a vehiclecrashed through her bedroom wall.
According to officials with the Madison Police Department, a sport utility vehicle crashed through the bedroom wall of Kenneth Enright’s10-month-old daughter shortly after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police say a Toyota 4-Runner lost control on the outside the Enright’s residents, swerved off the roadway, and crashed into the structure.
Kenneth Enright said he feared the worst when he saw the vehicle sitting on top of his daughter’s crib. Moments later Enright heard a cry and discovered his daughter, Ayliana, just inches from the SUV’s fronttire.
Ayliana was transported to University of Wisconsin Hospitalfor treatment. Doctors say she is okay, other than a small scratch on her head. She is expected to make a full recovery.
The driver of the Toyota told police he was on his way towork when he lost control of his vehicle on the rain-slicked roadway.
