Posted under Uncategorized

Earlier this month, a construction accident occurred in Mosinee, Wisconsin and left an 54-year old construction worker in critical condition.

According to the Wausau Daily Herald, the accident occurred around 8:40 A.M. on November 11th at 404 5th Street.  Rocky Hanson was driving a compacting machine at the construction site when the ground he was on gave way.  The area that collapsed was close to an excavated area and was less sturdy.  The vehicle then slid down into an embankment.  Paramedics found Hanson trapped underneath the compacting machine.

Hanson was rushed to the Wausau Hospital for serious injuries and was listed as being in critical condition.  Officials from the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the accident.
