The family of Catherine O’Donnell filed suit this week against four people in the operating room where Mrs. O’Donnell allegedly fell through a gap in the operating table and sustained head injuries and internal bleeding. O’Donnell, who was undergoing surgery to repair her left hip, was taken off life support a week later after doctors estimated her chance of survival to be very low.
The lawsuit names Dr. Carlos Guzman and Dr. John Pryor, as well as nurses Harvinder Miller and Ingrid Rush, as defendants. All four were allegedly in the operating room at the time of the fall.
