Woman loses eye, nose, and teeth – Medical malpractice suit filed

Posted under Uncategorized

Rebecca Crary has filed a medical malpractice lawsuit against physicians that caused her the loss of her nose, eye, and teeth. After suffering from severe sinus problems, Crary visited Dr. Stonestreet and Dr. Steinvurzel. In the lawsuit, Crary claims that Stonestreet did not correctly diagnose Crary’s condition. This act of negligence led to Crary’s loss of her eye, her nose, and several teeth.

After seeing Dr. Stonestreet, Crary consulted Dr. Steinvurzel for pain in her face and the non-stop tearing of her right eye. He performed several procedures on her in order to help sinus problems. These procedures included the removal of excess eyelid skin, something that Dr. Steinvurzel had suggested. These procedures did not aid Crary in recovering from her sinus troubles. Instead, she was left with large medical bills and the loss of facial features.

Crary is seeking damages for medical expenses, lost income, loss of enjoyment of life, and pain and suffering.
